3. SMS Messaging and Consent Information
Caldera Cybersecurity Services LLC operates separate informational and promotional SMS messaging programs.
Informational messages
Users may separately consent to receive messages concerning inquiry responses, follow-up communications regarding information requests, and service-information confirmations.
Promotional messages
Users may separately provide express written consent to receive promotional messages concerning cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, security-policy updates, and secure artificial-intelligence tool usage.
Consent for informational messages does not constitute consent for promotional messages. Consent applies only to Caldera Cybersecurity Services LLC and the specific SMS program selected by the user.
Consent collection
SMS consent is collected through our website Request Information form. The SMS consent checkboxes are unchecked by default. Users must actively select the applicable checkbox before submitting the form.
Providing a telephone number or submitting the form without selecting an SMS consent checkbox does not constitute consent. No SMS message is sent before the user has selected an SMS consent checkbox and submitted the form.
Consent is optional and is not required as a condition of requesting information, purchasing services, or otherwise doing business with Caldera Cybersecurity Services LLC.
Information recorded
To document and administer SMS consent, we may collect and retain:
- The user’s name and mobile telephone number;
- The date and time consent was provided;
- The SMS program or consent checkbox selected;
- The method and source through which consent was obtained;
- The consent language presented when the user opted in;
- The Internet Protocol address or session information associated with the submission, where available; and
- Records of opt-out and consent-withdrawal requests.
We use this information to provide the SMS messages requested by the user, administer messaging preferences, process opt-outs, maintain compliance records, prevent unauthorized messaging, and protect against misuse.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies, with up to four messages per month for each SMS program selected. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out
Users may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to an SMS message or by contacting us using the information contained in this Privacy Policy. We will retain sufficient information about an opt-out request to ensure that additional messages are not sent unless the user later opts in again.
Mobile information sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide information to subcontractors and service providers solely as necessary to support services such as SMS transmission, customer support, system hosting, security, and consent-record administration.
